Cid is a pilot who grew up in Rocket Town and married a girl called Shera. He can pilot almost any vehicle and had dreams of flying into space some day. This dream would have happened but he had to abort a launch to save his wife's life. The space program is now discontinued and his rocket is broken. Cid joins the team on their first trip to Rocket Town.
Cid is a strong character, but not one of the strongest. This makes him good as a third character in the party when you don't need a dedicated mage. His weapon of choice is a spear and it's good for poking things, hard. Don't give him too much materia.
